Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam has said that the ongoing ban on the corona pandemic will not be extended after Monday. He told reporters at the secretariat on Sunday while announcing the decision of the cabinet meeting.

Responding to a question, the cabinet secretary said, "There will be no more restrictions from Tuesday, February 22. Ongoing restrictions will not be extended.

The government has imposed restrictions on the movement of people as the incidence of the new type of corona, Omicron, continues to rise. Schools and colleges were closed.

Physical classes will start in secondary schools, colleges, and universities from February 22. And classes will start in primary school from March 1.
