Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has said that the BNP is suffering from election panic like rabies. He said the people have no interest in the presence or absence of BNP in the politics of the country. The BNP is now suffering from a severe crisis of public confidence.

The Awami League general secretary made the remarks at a briefing at his official residence on Wednesday, June 02.

BNP leaders have said that they are vocal in politics. Obaidul Quader also thinks that the BNP should stay away from anti-politics and play the role of a responsible opposition party and constructively criticize the government.

Regarding the statements of BNP leaders about the treatment of Begum Khaleda Zia, Obaidul Quader said, "These statements are the ongoing broken record of the BNP, which they are playing constantly."
