Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has said that besides natural disasters, our political environment is also becoming increasingly toxic.

He was speaking at a webinar organized by the Awami League's Forest and Environment Subcommittee on Saturday, June 05.

Obaidul Quader said, "Apart from natural disasters, the political environment is also becoming toxic. Violence and communal elements are being added. If the political environment is not stable, it is not possible to do many things."

He said, ‘Dhaka was number one in the list of uninhabitable cities in the survey of 140 countries. Now it is number 4. Even then Dhaka is not livable. Air pollution, noise pollution is at an extreme level. We have to work to overcome that. "
