'BNP has started lying about megaprojects'

Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has said that those who did not show courage and ability to do a mega project in their period of time in the country, today they have resorted mega lies about mega projects. The bridge minister also thinks that it is their planned mischief.

The Minister for Road Transport and Bridges said this while briefing at his own office in the Secretariat this morning.

Commenting on the BNP secretary general's allegation of mega project, Obaidul Quader said, "It is nothing but vengeful and jealousy."

The bridge minister also thinks that the BNP is planning to cover up the failures of its tenure by looking at the development activities of the present government.

Referring to the BNP's goal of tarnishing the country's image by continuing to lie, the Awami League general secretary said, "When they were in power, they turned the country into a paradise of corruption, and now they are jealous of the government's development activities."

Besides, Obaidul Quader said, "During their rule, the BNP had tarnished the image of the country as a world champion in corruption, which the people have not forgotten yet."
