"BNP as a political party is a complete failure"

AL General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has accused the BNP of conspiring to heat up the country's political arena in the name of forming a national government.

He made the allegation in a statement sent to the media on Friday. Obaidul Quader said that each and every leader of BNP is speaking in various tones now and again. Sometimes an election-time government, sometimes a neutral government, sometimes a national government and is conspiring to heat up the political arena, which will never succeed.

Obaidul Quader also said that the national election will be held on time as per the constitution.

Noting that the BNP has completely failed as a political party, he said that their top leaders have been convicted by the court, outlaws and emigrants after being immersed in corruption. The party is politically responsible for the corruption of the top leaders. So their leaders and workers are disappointed today.

The people of Bangladesh are united under the leadership of PM Sheikh Hasina in the light of the spirit of the Liberation War and in the interest of development and progress leaders. He said that millions of leaders and activists of AL under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina are fighting against all the conspiracies against the country and will continue to do so in future.

Mentioning that the daily statements of BNP leaders including Mirza Fakhrul are violating political etiquette and decency, the General Secretary of AL said that their statements and statements are full of lies and propaganda. It is as if the BNP is so obsessed with seizing power today that there is no similarity between their statements and reality. Such careless and unreliable articulations of BNP leaders are nothing but a conspiracy to create a crisis in the politics of Bangladesh.

Obaidul Quader said that Ziaur Rahman, the founder of BNP, is the father of vote robbery and murder of democracy in independent Bangladesh. Ziaur Rahman turned the electoral system of Bangladesh into a joke through the so-called yes-no vote in 1977. Later, Khaleda Zia's BNP wanted to keep the state power in its hands forever by creating 12.3 million fake voters on the voter list. Although the BNP seized power through assassinations and conspiracies, they had to say goodbye every time due to public anger. Sheikh Hasina, the only daughter of AL and Bangabandhu in independent Bangladesh, has taken over the rule of the country in a constitutional and democratic way and handed over power peacefully.
