Airport Armed Police (APBN) has seized currencies of eight countries, including Saudi Riyal, worth around Tk 2.5 crore during a raid at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital. One person was arrested in the incident by the Airport Armed Police Battalion.

According to APBN, currencies of eight countries, including the Saudi Riyal, worth about Tk 2.5 crore were seized. One person has been arrested in the incident. Jahangir Ghazi, a money smuggler, was going to Egypt from Dhaka on Turkish Airlines. He has resorted to various tactics in trafficking. Carrying in the trolley, he kept these currencies in the folds of 10 new shirts on cardboard, some with his own body.

APBN further said that about this case, we stand against money laundering strongly.
