An unidentified person was injured when a train hit him while he was crossing the road at Railgate area of ​​Karwan Bazar in the capital. Later while undergoing treatment he died at Dhaka Medical College died . The man is about 40 years old.

The accident took place on Monday, June 21 at around midnight. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday morning.

Abdullah Khan, official in-charge (ASI) of the police camp at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, said a man came to Dhaka Medical College from Karwan Bazar around 12.30pm with serious injuries. He died in the morning while undergoing treatment. The name of the deceased is not yet known. He was wearing a full sleeve shirt and a lungi. The body has been kept at Dhaka Medical Morgue for autopsy.
