A plane has crashed shortly after takeoff from the US state of Texas. However, all 21 passengers of the plane survived. The plane was reportedly burnt to ashes shortly after takeoff.

The McDonnell Douglas MD-80 took off from Houston Executive Airport for Boston on Tuesday afternoon local time. The plane crashed at a distance of only 500 feet when a mechanical fault occurred immediately after takeoff. Upon receiving the news, rescuers were able to quickly retrieve the passengers and crew from the wreckage of the crashed plane.

After a while, however, the wrecked plane caught fire. Despite the efforts of firefighters, most of the aircraft burned down. The photo shows firefighters trying to put out the blaze on the wrecked plane.

Fortunately, 21 passengers, including three crew members, survived, the statement said. Although three people were slightly injured in the incident. They have been sent to the hospital for treatment.

The authorities have not been able to reveal the cause of the horrific incident so far. But the administration has already started the investigation.
