Rain forecast in six divisions of the country

In the next 24 hours, the temperature in the capital Dhaka and Khulna divisions may remain dry. On the other hand, it may rain in six parts of the country.

The Meteorological Department said that the rainfall could be more in three divisions and less in the other three divisions. Meteorologist Omar Farooq provided the information on  Monday, May 23.

He told that more rain is likely in Chattogram, Rajshahi, and Rangpur. The chances of rain in the central region are very low. There will be a little more rain in these three divisions.

On the other hand, Barisal, Sylhet, and Mymensingh divisions are also likely to receive rain.

However, there may be less rainfall in these three divisions. Besides, the weather in Khulna and Dhaka may remain dry, he said.

The meteorologist said the temperature had risen slightly. The temperature will continue to rise for the next two days. However, there is a possibility of rain again after two days. There is currently no cyclone forecast. But now when it rains, there is a storm like Nor'westers, which will continue. Besides, the sea is calm at present.

According to the latest records of the Meteorological Office, the highest temperature recorded in the country in the last 24 hours was recorded at Chandpur at 34.8 degrees Celsius.

In the next two days, the tendency of thunderstorms in the country may decrease and in the next five days, the weather in the country may change slightly, said the Meteorological Department.
