Thursday, June 2 meteorologist Bazlur Rashid gave this information in the next 24 hours weather forecast.

According to the forecast, day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged in the next 24 hours. In the next 3 days, the southwest monsoon winds of the country may become more advanced. At the same time, the wind speed and direction in Dhaka is around 10 to 15 kilometers per hour from south/southeast which is 30 to 40 kilometers per hour temporarily. The relative humidity in Dhaka was 90 percent this morning.

Bazlur Rashid said that light to moderate rain/thundershowers with temporary gusts may occur in many places of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions and some parts of Rajshahi and Barisal divisions and one or two places in Khulna division. At the same time, there may be moderate to heavy rain in some parts of the country.

He said that the extension of the western light pressure extends to the West Bengal, and adjoining areas. Southwest monsoon winds have advanced to the Chattogram division. This could lead to further southwest monsoon winds.

According to the forecast, the highest temperature in the country was recorded in Rajshahi at 36.7 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the lowest temperature recorded in Sitakunda was 24 degrees Celsius. Besides, the maximum rainfall in the last 24 hours was 42 mm in Cox's Bazar.
