Rain with thunder may occur in different parts of country

The Meteorological Department has forecast thundershowers in most parts of the country including Dhaka on Friday.

Extension of light pressure extends from Bihar through Gangetic West Bengal to the north-western Bay of Bengal. Monsoon winds are fairly active over Bangladesh and weak to moderate in North Bay.

This was stated in the forecast for the next 24 hours from 6 pm on Thursday, June 09.

As a result, many places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions; Some parts of the Rajshahi, Khulna, and Barisal divisions may experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers with temporary gusts. At the same time, there may be moderate to heavy rain in some parts of the country.
