Rain forecast in all parts of the country
The Meteorological Department said that there could be temporary gusts of rain and thunderstorms in all parts of the country. This information has been given in a forecast of the Meteorological Department on Saturday, May 29.
The forecast said the apparent light pressure in the eastern part of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh has become insignificant as it moves further north and weaker, and the increase in light pressure is located in West Bengal and adjoining areas.
The forecast also said that some parts of Rajshahi, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions and a couple of places in Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions may experience temporary gusts of rain and thunderstorms and day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country.
Besides, the tendency of rain and thunderstorm in the country may increase in the next 72 hours.
According to the Meteorological Department, the highest temperature of 36.5 degrees Celsius was recorded in Rangamati and Nikli in the last 24 hours and the lowest temperature was 22.6 degrees Celsius in Tentulia. Besides, 36 mm rainfall has been recorded in Bogra in the last 24 hours.
