The meteorological department has forecast rain in six parts of the country. This information has been given in a forecast of the Meteorological Department on Thursday, june 03.

According to the forecast, the increase in light pressure is from Bihar to Assam across West Bengal and Bangladesh and the increase in other light pressure extends from West Bengal to the North Bay. Due to this, light to moderate rain and thundershowers with temporary gusts may occur in some parts of Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and in one or two places of Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions.

Elsewhere in the country, the forecast says, the weather will be mostly dry with partly cloudy skies and daytime temperatures may rise slightly across the country. In addition, the night temperature may remain almost unchanged. The weather may change slightly over the next three days.

Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 35.7 degrees Celsius in Syedpur and the lowest temperature was recorded in Sylhet at 24.4 degrees Celsius. Besides, the highest rainfall of 54 mm has been recorded in Cox's Bazar in the last 24 hours.
