Rescued after 24 days
The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has rescued 2 abduction victims, who were purportedly held hostage for 24 days, and raped.
On Saturday, RAB rescued the woman and her four-year-old child from the shipyard area under and captured Ahidur Islam Sohel, 32, said Khulna-based RAB-6 Director Lt Col Mushtaq Ahmed.
As indicated by the reports of a case that began once again the issue, the victim, a resident of Dhaka, went to Khulna with her child to visit her sister on February 27.
Nonetheless, Ahidur and some of his associates abducted her on the way.
He held the child captive and threatened to kill him and raped the woman, said RAB.
The woman’s husband filed a complaint with RAB in Khulna after which a team led raids to rescue them.
