Residential hall of DU will open from October 5

Dhaka University Library and Residential Hall will be opened on 26 September 2021 and 5 October for Honors 4th year and Masters students only. Honors 4th year and Masters students who have been vaccinated with at least the first dose of ‘Covid-19’ can follow the hygiene rules and SOP by showing the vaccination card/certificate and valid university identity card to the concerned authorities.

On Saturday, September 18, these decisions were taken at an emergency meeting of the syndicate chaired by University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md. Akhtaruzzaman. These decisions are made on the recommendation of the Provost Standing Committee and the Academic Council.

The concerned students will be able to use the Central Library, Science Library, and Seminar Libraries of the Department / Institute from 10 am to 5 pm from September 26. Residential students will be able to get up at their respective halls from 8 am on October 5. Officers/employees providing various services to the students should also keep the vaccination certificate/certificate with them.

According to the decision of the syndicate meeting, in order to increase health awareness, there will be banners/festoons in every residential hall of the university and visible places in the academic building with the guidelines for following the hygiene rules.
