Young man died in a road accident in the capital

A young man named Kamrul Hasan (29) died in a road accident in front of Matuail Hospital in Jatrabari.

The accident happened on Tuesday, May 11 in the morning. According to eyewitnesses, a car pushed him from behind and fled quickly.

Kamrul was rushed to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) in critical condition. He died there around 8:30 am.

Ishaq Ahmed, the father of the deceased, said, "I got the news over the telephone that my son had an accident in front of the Matuail hospital. I went to the spot and saw him lying on the road in a bloody state. After informing the Jatrabari police station, the police rescued him and took him to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital. The doctor then pronounced him dead."

He further said that their village home is in Sahebganj village of Faridganj upazila of Chandpur. They and their family live in the Saddam Market area of ​​Jatrabari. The deceased has a three-month-old baby girl. Kamrul was the eldest of three brothers. He used to work in a private company.

Sub-Inspector (SI) of Jatrabari Police Station Mahmudul Haque said, "We went to the spot and saw the youth lying on the road in a bloody condition.At the end of the legal process, the body was handed over to the family without an autopsy."
