Italian Football Federation signed a new deal with Mancini

Coach Roberto Mancini had a contract with Italy until the 2022 World Cup. He wanted to return to club football after the World Cup in Qatar. However, Mancini has backed away from that decision.

Going with Italy. The new contract has been extended for another four years. This means that the football guru has taken the responsibility of Italy on his shoulders till the 2026 World Cup.

The head of the Italian Football Federation, Gabriele Gravina, confirmed the news.

Italy have won 19 of 28 matches under Mancini. He lost only two matches. Italy have reached the main stage of the Euro 2020. His team also won the last four tickets of the Nations League.

Italy will play Turkey, Wales and Switzerland in Group A of the European Championship. The event will be held from June 11 to July 11.
