APBN members have rescued a kidnapped Rohingya girl in a raid at Shamlapur Rohingya camp in Teknaf. Two accused Rohingya youths were arrested at that time.

The detainees are Md. Of E block of 15 Rohingya camp in Jamtali of Ukhia. Shaker's son Ayash (22) and Shamlapur-23 camp A / 5 block Abdul Matlab's son Ayash (18).

APBN members rescued the girl from Rahima Khatun's house in Shamlapur A / 6 block on Tuesday evening, May 25. Cox's Bazar 16 APBN captain Tariqul Islam Tariq confirmed that the victim's father had filed a case with the Teknaf Model Police Station.

According to the Cox's Bazar 16 Armed Police Battalion (APBN), on May 21, a 17-year-old Rohingya girl was abducted from her house in Block S of Jamtali 15 Rohingya Camp in Ukhia by Ayash (22), a youth from E Block of the same camp.

When the people of the girl's house searched for the incident, they came to know that they were staying at a friend's house in Camp No. 23 of Shamlapur. The name of the friend is also yaas.

When the victim's family informed the Shamlapur APBN and CIC about the matter, the Shamlapur APBN identified their location and rescued the victim from the house of Rahima Khatun, uncle of friend Ayas (18). The two accused were arrested at that time.

During interrogation, it was learned that the girl had been raped by two men for the last four days. Cox's Bazar 16 APBN captain Tariqul Islam Tariq said the rescued victims and the arrested accused were later sent to Teknaf Model Police Station for legal action.

Meanwhile, Teknaf Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Hafizur Rahman said that the Ukhia Police Station is taking legal action in this regard as the abduction took place in Ukhia Police Station area.
