Rubel is uncertain in upcoming series against Sri Lanka

Pacer Rubel Hossain is uncertain in the upcoming series against Sri Lanka due to a back injury. The medical department of the BCB has decide whether he will play in the Rubel series or not.

BCB doctor Debashis Chowdhury said, "He had some problems while in New Zealand. Now he has no pain. However, Rubel has to understand the issue of match fitness. We didn't find any pain at the moment."

The BCB doctor added, "Playing at the highest level of cricket has some injuries for the players. So Rubel has to make sure that he is fit to play the match. Ruble have been scanned several times. The scan showed some problems in his lower back. Such problems are usually due to bowling in the long run. This problem continues to grow later. Not just the ruble, many of our fast bowlers are suffering from this problem."

Regarding his inclusion in the team, Debashish Chowdhury said, "His rehabilitation process is underway. The selectors will decide at the last minute. If the team management asks, we will give an update."

Rubel is one of the best weapons of Bangladesh team in limited overs cricket. Bangladesh team has got a lot of success with his hands.

The first ODI of the series against Sri Lanka is on May 23. They will play the remaining two ODIs on May 25 and 28.

Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Stadium is the venue for the three-day match as part of the ICC ODI World Cup Super League. Allotted 10 points for each Super League match.

At the end of the series, the Lankan team will leave Dhaka on May 29.
