Prime Minister to return home at night

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will return home on Friday night, October 1 after attending the UN General Assembly. She will return to the country from Washington DC, USA via Helsinki.

According to the Press Wing of the Prime Minister's Office, a VVIP chartered flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines will arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at night via the Finnish capital Helsinki with the Prime Minister and her entourage.

The flight will depart from Washington DC's Dallas International Airport for Helsinki at 17:00 Washington DC time. At the airport, Bangladesh Ambassador to the United States Shahidul Islam will bid farewell to the Prime Minister.

Earlier, the Prime Minister arrived in New York on September 19 to attend the 76th United Nations General Assembly after a two-day stopover in the Finnish capital Helsinki. During her stay in New York from 19 to 24 September, the Prime Minister attended the 76th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and several high-level side-talks at the UN Headquarters.

Later, on September 25, she left New York for Washington, D.C., after a week-long official visit to New York.
