Sinha murder case: Testimony is going on in fifth phase

Sinha murder case
Testimony is underway in the fifth phase of the murder case of retired Army Major Sinha Mohammad Rashed Khan. Testimony began in the court of Cox's Bazar District and Sessions Judge Mohammad Ismail at 10.15 am on Sunday.

At 9:30 am, 15 accused in the Sinha murder case were produced in court. The fifth testimony and interrogation will continue till October 12.

On the first day, the court proceedings began with the interrogation of Baby Begum, a witness in the case.

In the fourth phase, on September 29, the cross-examination of the lawyers of the accused party remained incomplete. That is why Baby Begum was interrogated again today. The court had fixed September 22 as the date for testimony and cross-examination.

State Counsel and Public Prosecutor of the Judicial Court (PP) Faridul Alam confirmed the information.
