The black cloud of Sravan has fallen on the faces of BNP
Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has said that looting and lies are mixed in the bone marrow of BNP. That is why the shadow of Sravan's black cloud has fallen on the faces of BNP leaders including Mirza Fakhrul.
He was speaking at a conference of Awami League's Darussalam Thana and wards 9 and 10 under Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League at Mirpur Shaheed Buddhijibi Memorial premises in the capital on Friday.
Obaidul Quader asked the BNP secretary-general, "What is the crime of Sheikh Hasina for constructing various big projects including Padma Bridge, Metro Rail, Elevated Expressway, Karnafuli Tunnel in the country?"
BNP will not go to the polls without a neutral government, the Awami League general secretary countered by saying that Begum Zia once said that there is no neutral in the country except children and lunatics, then does the BNP want to form a neutral government with lunatics and children?
He said fugitive and convicted accused Tarique Rahman was conspiring to create chaos in the country by sending money smuggled to BNP leaders from across the Thames.
The top leader of the Awami League urged the party leaders and workers to be vigilant at this time.
He said that in order to save the Awami League, the leaders and workers of the party in bad times must be saved. Sheikh Hasina will participate in the next national elections by organizing and strengthening the party. There is no shortage of good people in Awami League so there is no need to keep bad people in the team.
Obaidul Quader said people across the country are smiling when they hear that Padma Bridge is going to be inaugurated but BNP leaders are in big trouble.
