At least 30 people have been killed in a collision between two passenger trains in Pakistan's Sindh province. Another 50 people were injured in the incident.

The incident took place near Darki town in Ghotki district of Sindh on Monday in the morning, local time.

A spokesman for the country's railway department as saying that the Millat Express derailed on its way from Karachi to Sargodha and went into a down truck, causing it to collide with the Sir Syed Express from Rawalpindi.

He said the incident took place near the local Raiti railway station.
