Two fishermen have been missing since last night.

Prahlad Chandra Roy, officer-in-charge of the Forest Department's Dubla Shutki Palli patrol outpost, said the navy, coast guard, and forest department had launched an operation at sea on Saturday morning to rescue the missing fishermen and the sunken trawler. Rescue operations are also being carried out with about 100 trawlers in Dublar Char.

Prahlad Chandra Roy said, "All the 18 trawlers that sank in the sea belong to Dublar Char. However, the identities of the two missing prisoners were not known.

Meanwhile, forest officer Prahlad Roy also said that about two crore taka worth of dry goods were lost in Dublar Char due to storm and rain last night.
