2 Bangladeshi students stuck in Ukraine

Two Bangladeshi students are stranded in Ukraine due to the war. They are trapped in a bunker in the southwestern Ukrainian city of Mariupol. The two arrested are Mahmudul Hasan Dolan and Mehedi Hasan.

Shortly before the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war, they arrived in the country on student visas. They were stationed in a town on the coast of the Sea of ​​Azov. Russia has also recently attacked the city.

Dolan's brother-in-law Masudur Rahman Tuhin, a Polish expatriate, said the last conversation with Dolan was on Saturday. At that time, five hours of 'Human Corridor' were given and 40 people including Dolan and Mehedi were trying to cross the border. But in the middle, Ukrainian troops turned their cars around.

After that, Dolan and Mehedi, and others took shelter in a bunker in Mariupol Reaching there, Dolan sent a voice message to his sister-in-law. No communication since then. Dolan's sister-in-law said they were there in a very inhuman condition. No electricity, no water, no food.

In this regard, Bangladesh's Ambassador to Poland Sultana Laila Hossain said that 9 Bangladeshis have already been rescued. Efforts are on to rescue these two Bangladeshis. Can't communicate with them. Attempts are still being made to rescue the location. The ambassador also said that they are waiting for the human corridor.

He said the government had already been contacted and that efforts were being made to rescue them through the Red Cross. We continue to communicate with the Red Cross.
