Universities to reopen after September 27

Staff Correspondent
All the universities in the country will be open from September 27 after the registration of the coronavirus vaccine for students.

On Tuesday, September 14, the decision was taken at a virtual meeting between Education Minister Dipu Moni, Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC), and university vice-chancellors.

According to meeting sources, the academic councils of the universities will set a date for the reopening of their respective educational institutions.

It is worth mentioning that all the educational institutions in the country were closed from March 17 last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. From September 12, the primary, secondary and higher secondary level educational institutions were opened.

On the other hand, the medical colleges opened on 13 September.
