US rapper Young Dolph shot dead at age 36

Popular US rapper Young Dolph has been shot dead. Rapper Young Dolph stopped at a homemade butter cookie shop on his way to see his sick aunt. The singer was shot dead there. He was 36 years old at the time of his death.

The incident happened Wednesday in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, said local police chief Cheryl Davis.

He said it was another example of the unscrupulous gun violence that the United States is facing locally and nationwide. Dolph's killer has not yet been identified.

Many stars, including Rick Ross, Megan Thee Stallion, and Chance the Rapper, have mourned the tragic death of Young Dolph.

Earlier, in February 2017, several shots were fired at Young Dolph's car. He was shot in Los Angeles in September of that year.

In 2016, Dolph's first album 'King of Memphis' was released. His multiple songs have gained popularity. Notable among these are ‘Blue Diamonds’ and ‘R&B’. The latest 2020 album, Rich Slave, took fifth place on the Billboard charts.

Young Dolph's real name is Adolph Robert Thornton Jr. However, he is popularly known as Young Dolph.
