A young man named Abdullah (25) died when he was hit by a train in the airport railway station area of ​​the capital. The incident took place around 10:45 am on Monday.

The injured were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital by the Railway Police. The on-duty doctor declared him dead at around 12:45 pm.

Mominul Islam, a police officer on duty at the airport station, said the youth was crossing the railway line at the airport railway station area. At that time, he was cut in the Kishoreganj Express train which left Dhaka for Kishoreganj. The train stopped and he was taken to the hospital.

Mominul further said that the identity of the deceased youth has been identified through his mobile phone.

Abdullah's home is in Kasturipara village of Kalihati upazila of Tangail. His father's name is Danesh Ali. Rumi Akhter, a nurse at DMCH, is an acquaintance of Abdullah. She gave this information.

Rumi Akhter further said that Abdullah used to study in a private homeopathy college in Dhaka. According to Abdullah's family members, Abdullah was coming to Dhaka from Tangail today.

The hospital police box in charge (inspector) Bachchu Mia said the body was kept in the morgue for autopsy.
